The apartment was absolutely perfect, we had a really nice time there. It has a very good equipment, we didn't missed anything. It has a wonderful view of the valley. The contact to the owners was absolutely uncomplicated and trustful. We would choose that apartment every time. Thanks a lot to the owners for the gorgous time!

Family Puttemans Belgium
We had a very pleasant stay in Oliveta, the second week of sept08. The cosy house and its tasteful furniture, the garden in different levels, swimming pool and also the great views from the terrace were all very much to our liking. To us the 3 big pluses of this house were: 1/ the views; 2/ the family table on the terrace; 3/ every level of the house has access to the garden which also gives a sense of privacy for each floor. And as the weather was also nice to us, it was a holiday to remember for a long time, also because we had the first anniversary of our first grandchild there, together with our own 60th anniversary! Ciao!

ELKE DAG ZON EN EEN ZWEMBAD TER VERKOELING. IN DE MIDDAG KON DE TEMPEATUUR BEHOORLIJK OPLOPEN (40 +) EN DAN IS ITALIAANSE RUST OM HET ZWEMBAD EEN MUST. IN Ã‰Ã‰N WOORD FANTASTICO. OPA NOGMAALS BEDANKT VOOR DE POMMEDORES. OOK IS HET EEN IDEALE UITVALSBASIS OM UITSTAPJES TE MAKEN. EEN ACCOMODATIE EN LAND OM ZEKER NOGMAALS TERUG TE KOMEN !! GROET VAN FAM. OORTWIJN UIT NEDERLAND.

We've stayed in Malva 2 in 2007 and 2008 and the only disadvantage was leaving after a wonderfull week in a beautifull and quiet holiday destination. If you prefer a clean, authentic, spacious and well equipped guesthouse, Il Belvedere is definately something that will surprise you. The contact with the Grifoni familiy is very warm an interesting and to see that even the grandparents have an important role in the "Belvedere experience" is quite unique. Truly, the Grifoni family has the right talent in well treating their guests. Do try the lovely tuscan pomodori and insalata from the garden and especially their home grown olive oil! With Loro Ciuffenna reachable by bycicle and acceptable car distances from Arezzo, Sienna and Firenze, Il Belvedere for us is a holiday destination we most certainly will return to.

Fam;Van Bets Belgium
We zijn nog maar net thuis van onze prachtige vakantie in villa Ollivetti, maar we missen reeds alles : de vriendelijke eigenaars, het kraaknette huis en natuurlijk de prachtige omgeving. Echt een aanrader om naartoe te gaan !!

If you're looking for a place where tranquility is sought, then look no further than Il Belvedere. We've rented both Malva 1 & 2 for a family of 12 beginning of May 2008 for a week & what a place!! We originally wanted to have the L'Oliveta but we have been beaten by another group even though we tried to book more than 6 months in advance!! But having both apartments worked out well for us as we each had our own bathrooms which is a big plus!! Surrounded by picturesque beauty, surprisingly warm weather (bet 26 â€“ 29 deg) & it only rained once on our second day but that was well needed as I suffer badly from hay fever. The boys (especially my 5 year old) have thoroughly enjoyed making use of the swimming pool which takes a bit of time getting used to as it was chilly but once in, you wouldn't want to come out â€“ well, almost :) He couldnâ€™t wait to jump in the moment we arrived after 4pm! We were also able to have a BBQ once & eating al fresco was simply lovely!! I speak for all of us when I say what a pleasure it was to stay at Il Belvedere!! The icing on the cake for me was the organically grown eggs that Franco (the owner) brought over one evening for us to savour & they were absolutely scrummy!! Many thanks for your warm hospitality & we look forward to coming back again in the future!!!
